Abstract

An InGaAs large area photodiode has been employed for detection of a-particles in the energy range of 0.412-5.5 MeV. W- value for InGaAs is determined. W = 2.94 +/- 0.16 eV. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
