Abstract

CHA2DS2-VASc score associates with worse prognosis in coronavirus-disease-19 (COVID-19). This study investigated laboratory correlates of increasing CHA2DS2-VASc in patients with COVID-19. Patients with COVID-19 were stratified by CHA2DS2-VASc (Group 1: CHA2DS2-VASc 0-1; Group 2: CHA2DS2-VASc 2-3; Group 3: CHA2DS2-VASc ≥4). We found stepwise increase of D-dimer, hs-Troponin and in-hospital mortality across groups (all P
