Abstract
- Using the vasoconstrictive effects of topical steroid application as a marker, we studied the effect of anhidrosis on the percutaneous absorption of a corticosteroid ointment and cream. We found that a decrease in sweating ability resulted in a decrease in blanching and presumably in percutaneous absorption of steroid.
