- Patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in Latin America differ to a certain extent from lupus patients in other parts of the world, particularly those from developed countries as reported over the last several years by the GLADEL group (Grupo Latino Americano de Estudio de Lupus or Latin American Group for the Study of Lupus).
