Sorption and electrotransfer characteristics of hydrogen-gettering material in contact with a hydrogen plasma

The hydrogen sorption and electrotransfer characteristics of hydride-coated cathodes were determined during plasma discharge experiments in a planar magnetron. The hydride alloys investigated were ZrVFe and ZrVFeBO. It is shown that the composition of the hydrogen gas discharge plasma is primarily determined by the peculiarities of the interaction of the plasma with metal hydride.
