Abstract
- It is clear that imaging will play a major role in further advancing the indications for endovascular treatment; furthermore, imaging can make stroke systems of care more efficient by helping physicians make decisions regarding transfer of patients with an acute ischemic stroke from primary stroke centers to centers capable of performing endovascular procedures.
