Expectations Of Undergraduate Students From The Department Of Health Administration From Accounting Teachers: Case Of Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University

Bu çalışma, sağlık yönetimi alanında muhasebe içerikli derslerin önemini vurgulayarak bu alanda eğitim alan lisans öğrencilerinin muhasebe öğretim elemanlarının özelliklerine ilişkin beklentilerini değerlendirmek ve öğretim elemanlarının kullandığı öğretim yöntemleri ile ilgili beklentilerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi’nde yürütülmüş ve araştırmaya Sağlık Yönetimi Bölümünde öğrenim gören 299 öğrenci katılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak anket formu kullanılmıştır. Anket formları yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi ile toplanmıştır. Genel görünüm için ankette öğrencilere yöneltilen tüm sorulara ilişkin frekans analizleri yapılmıştır. Gerekli kısımlarda normal dağılıma uygunluk Shapiro-Wilk Testi ile sınanmıştır. Normal dağılıma uygunluğun sağlanmaması nedeniyle tüm istatistiksel analizler parametrik olmayan testler kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Gruplar arası karşılaştırmalarda iki grup için Mann-Whitney U Testi, ikiden fazla grup için Kruskal Wallis Varyans Analizi uygulanmıştır. Öğretim elemanının özellikleri ile ilgili beklentilere ilişkin ifadeler incelendiğinde; katılımcıların cinsiyetine göre kadınlar lehine anlamlı bir farklılık bulunduğu ve yaş, sınıf, lisede muhasebe dersi alma, muhasebe ile ilgili bir alanda lisansüstü eğitim yapma durumları arasında ise anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmadığı saptanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretim elemanlarının kullandığı öğretim yöntemi ile ilgili beklentilere ilişkin ifadelerde cinsiyet, yaş, sınıf ve lisede muhasebe dersi alma durumlarına göre anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmadığı saptanmıştır
The aim of this study is to evaluate the expectations of undergraduate students who are educated in this field about the characteristics of accounting instructors and to determine the expectations of the instructors about the teaching methods used by emphasizing the importance of accounting courses in the field of health management. The study was conducted at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and 299 students from the Health Management Department participated in the study. A questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. Questionnaire forms were collected by face to face interview method. For the general view, frequency analysis of all the questions posed to the students in the survey was conducted. Compliance with normal distribution in the required parts was tested with the Shapiro-Wilk Test. All statistical analyzes were performed by using non-parametric tests due to lack of conformity to normal distribution. Mann-Whitney U Test for two groups in comparisons between groups, Kruskal Wallis Analysis of Variance was performed for more than two groups. When the statements about expectations about the characteristics of the instructor are examined; It was found that there was a significant difference in favor of women according to the gender of the participants and that there was no significant difference between the age, class, high school accounting courses and the postgraduate education in a related field. As a result of the research, it was found that there was no significant difference in the expressions about expectations about the teaching method used by the instructors according to gender, age, class and high school accounting courses.
