La « civilisation » japonaise du châtaignier (The chestnut-tree civilisation in Japan)

- Japanese chestnut grove is now the first in the world, and since a few years had a spectacular growth. It can be explained by the japanese taste for all fruits, but also by the fact that chestnut is for citizens a symbol of nature, peculiarly of the end of autumn.
Résumé. - Désormais au premier rang mondial, la châtaigneraie japonaise a connu ces dernières années un développement spectaculaire. Il tient au goût des citadins pour les fruits, et au fait que la châtaigne les rattache à la nature par le symbole de la fin de l'automne qu'elle incarne.
