”Industrial Material” is an important subject that is related to all subjects in the mechanical engineering department. Familiar examples, famous accidental cases, and intriguing videos were adopted in the text in order to appeal to and motivate learners. As a result, attention to “Industrial Material” was created and the learners could confirm the relevance of it according to questionnaires. Moreover, relatively high satisfaction was obtained whereas the confidence of learners was partly captured. Therefore, homework assignments and feedback to learners should be improved in the future.
