A essência das coisas: considerações sobre a categorização e a formação conceitual

Categorization is one of the fundamental processes on the practices of library and information sciences (LIS). The concept comes as an input from this process, which makes possible the human interaction with the universe, and the generation of knowledge. Our target is to describe, through a theoretical study, the relevance of conceptual formation to the knowledge organization at LIS.
