Contenidos latinoamericanos en revistas españolas: dificultades para determinar la colección de publicaciones de Estudios Latinoamericanos

This paper analyzes several problems found in the selection of Spanish journals that constitute the collection of specialized publications about Latin American Studies in the ISOC database (CSIC), the LATINDEX system of information on journals and REDIAL portals. The difficulties are related to two trends in the evolution of scientific publication habits. On the one hand, the growing interest of Latin American authors to publish their work in Spanish journals and creating collaborative networks that some publications favor that non-specialized publications provide a significant number of articles on this geographical area. Secondly, the development of direct electronic edition also favors this interrelationship.
