Revendo as práticas de organização da informação no Infobci: primeiros estudos sobre o vocabulário controlado

Viewing the Web capacity for disseminate and share information, was created a virtual environment dedicated to the community interested in Information Science. In this space, called InfoBCI (available at: ), articles published in national journals are indexed using a controlled vocabulary suggested for organization library and information science holdings and open a space for comments about the publications, however, we noticed that the terms summarized not being effective in representation of the contents. In this context, part of a study for the determination of a controlled vocabulary appropriate organization and sharing of scientific information, explored as issue the use and importance of this instrument of representation, introducing some relevant issues about the establishment or adoption of readymade indices in the organization of information, even comparing it to the list of issues adopted in the blog with others focused on Information Science.
