Abstract

Xyloglucanases are special enzymes that decompose a xyloglucan chain and provide growth for plant cell. Twenty-five aspen lines with recombinant xyloglucanase gene p-Xeg were produced and characterized. All the transgenic lines demonstrate different phenotypic effects of xyloglucanase overexpression.
