Effects of matching media presentation modes with learners' preferred perceptual modes : implications for software design

This study looks at the effectiveness of customising courseware and software to match the learning styles of the adult user. Information was presented in four perceptual modes: auditory, visual, tactile and kinaesthetic and the subjects were tested on their ability to recall the information.
