Title: Knowledge of motor vehicle drivers of first aid procedures in traffic accidents Objectives: The diploma thesis aims to determine level of knowledge of motor vehicle drivers about first aid procedures in traffic accidents with the help of using own survey. Methods: Compilation, survey, analysis Results: The established hypothesis was confirmed. The knowledge of medically educated drivers about first aid procedures is sufficient, the knowledge of non-medical drivers is not. Success is not dependent on respondents' gender. One third of the respondents witnessed a car accident and more than one fifth already actively provided first aid. Keywords: First aid, traffic accident, injury, rescue
