Abstract
- The objective of the dissertation thesis is to search and propose the factors affecting the development of employees including the criteria for observing the development of employees in selected small and medium-sized enterprises and developing employees there. Observing the factors affecting the development of employees is important to the managers in the process of employee development management, it is based on the impulse of developing the employees in order to meet the needs of the enterprise. The dissertation thesis characterizes the human potential, human capital and human resources including the development trends in small and medium-sized enterprises, and the development of education of employees in such enterprises. It analyses strengths and weaknesses of human resource management and the form of human potential development, e. g. the effect of the size of enterprise on the meaning of evaluation of education of employees or whether the education costs affect the economic results of selected small and medium-sized enterprises, using quantitative as well as qualitative research.
