Curriculum planning in health education

This diploma thesis is focused on curriculum planning in health education. The aim of the work was to design model lessons for a selected thematic unit of health education at a selected primary school. The model lessons are based on an analysis of the school's educational program which focused on the current document and the integration of health education into optional subjects. A partial goal of this work was also to find out whether health education teachers are informed about the concept of health education at their school. Among other things, the partial goal was to find out the current state of implementation of health education in the educational reality. Analysis of the school curriculum, observations, and interviews were used to obtain information. This diploma thesis contains twelve models of lessons of the thematic unit sex education. During the analysis was found that the school curriculum of the selected school contains incorrect information, is out of date and some fields of study are completely missing in the document. There is no subject focused on healt education in the selection of optional subjects, but we can find a partial blend in the two offered optional subjects.
