Abstract

International audience; The information about the beyond-Voigt shape of collision-perturbed line is encrypted in six spectral line-shape parameters: pressure broadening and shift, γ0 and δ0, their speed-dependencies, γ2 and δ2, and the real and imaginary part of the complex Dicke parameter, νropt and νiopt. A proper description of the temperature dependence of the line-shape parameters is important for the spectroscopic studies of both terrestrial and extraterrestrial atmospheres. Such studies, however, require reference datasets storing the parameters and their temperature-dependences for various transitions of a given molecular system.My talk will be devoted to a comprehensive dataset of the beyond-Voigt spectral line-shape parameters for H2 perturbed by He and its experimental validation with accurate CRDS spectra. I will also present the methodology of populating line-by-line spectroscopic databases with beyond-Voigt line-shape parameters1, based on ab initio quantum scattering calculations. Iwill discuss the double-power-law (DPL) temperature-dependence model2, which provides an universal, simple and accurate structure for each of the six line-shape parameters.We provide dataset entries for 3480 electric quadrupole lines of H2-He in Ref.3 and 11 575 dipole and quadruple lines of HD-He (as reported in Ref.4), which covers all molecular hydrogen lines present in the HITRAN database
