O Conc?lio Ecum?nico Vaticano II marcou a hist?ria da Igreja com seu aggiornamento evidenciando a dimens?o pastoral da Igreja. Sem ferir a Tradi??o e a Doutrina, prop?s ao mundo um di?logo atualizado, acess?vel e sistem?tico acerca do conte?do presente no Depositum fidei. Nesse processo foi elaborada a Constitui??o Dogm?tica Dei Verbum que oferece a defini??o conciliar do ato de f?. A hist?ria da reda??o da Dei Verbum e, de modo particular, o texto que comp?e o n?mero 5 onde se apresenta o ato de f?, indicam o percurso de assimila??o do objetivo conciliar apresentado por Jo?o XXIII. Compreender o ato de f? como op??o fundamental traz presente sua dimens?o pessoal que n?o ? poss?vel sem o aspecto eclesial. Cada elemento da afirma??o dogm?tica presente na Dei Verbum 5, conduz a uma compreens?o aprofundada do ato de f? que estabelece um modus vivendi espec?fico ao seguidor de Jesus Cristo. Como compreender o ato de f? enquanto op??o fundamental nos desafios da sociedade contempor?nea, a incid?ncia da Dei Verbum 5 no Catecismo da Igreja Cat?lica, no ano da f? de Paulo VI, Bento XVI e Francisco, bem como nos documentos do CELAM perseguem a atualidade do tema proposto: o ato de f? como op??o fundamental. The Second Vatican Ecumenical Council marked the history of the Church with its aggiornamento showing the pastoral dimension of the church. Without hurting tradition and doctrine, I proposed to the world an updated, accessible and systematic dialogue about the content present at the Depositum fidei. In this process, the Dogmatic Constitution Dei Verbum was elaborated, offering the conciliar definition of the act of faith. The history of the writing of Dei Verbum and in particular the text that make up the number 5 where the act of faith is presented, indicate the path of assimilation of the conciliar objective presented by John XXIII. Understanding the act of faith as a fundamental option brings to mind its personal dimension that is not possible without the ecclesial aspect. Each element of the dogmatic affirmation present in Dei Verbum 5, leads to an in-depth understanding of the act of faith that establishes a modus vivendi specific to the follower of Jesus Christ. How to understand the act of faith as a fundamental option in the challenges of contemporary society, the impact of Dei Verbum 5 in the Catechism of the Catholic Church in the year of the faith of Paulo VI, Bento XVI and Francisco as well as CELAM documents pursue the relevance of the proposed theme: act of faith as a fundamental option.
