Correlazioni strutturali e formali e riusi delle unità stratigrafiche murarie

Negli edifici di epoca classica, già scavati o in corso di scavo, le componenti strutturali e formali del manufatto architettonico sono spesso molto frammentarie e le correlazioni che tra queste possono solo essere ipotizzate. Il riuso, su lunghi o lunghissimi periodi, accresce inoltre il problema di come registrare il cambiamento, talvolta drastico, subito dalle strutture che sopravvivono al complesso architettonico per il quale erano state create. In questo breve articolo si discute di come queste caratteristiche peculiari e ricorrenti delle Unità Stratigrafiche Murarie possano essere registrate nella documentazione archeologica. In the buildings of the classical period, alredy excavated or under excavation, the structural and formal components are almost always fragmentary, therefore the correlations which existed between them can only be hypothesised. The reuse on a long or a very long period, furthermore raises the problem of recording the change, sometime drastic, suffered from a structure that is surviving the architectural building for the purpose was created. In this note we discuss how these peculiar and recurrent characteristics of the stratigraphic units of the masonry may be described in the documentation.
