El direccionamiento estratégico una disciplina que se apoya en la planeación estratégica, el cual permite establecer los logros que esperamos obtener luego de la inversión de recursos y esfuerzo, además a través de él se pueden definir los indicadores que conllevarán a ejercer el control, identificar las actividades clave dentro de la gestión y el enfoque para que pueda existir coherencia con la misión, visión y los objetivos establecidos. La estrategia es el eje central de la dirección empresarial, por ello la función del direccionamiento estratégico es mejorar los indicadores de efectividad y de este modo se puede notar la relación estrecha que existe entre este y la calidad. La dirección estratégica marca efectivamente el rumbo de la organización facilitando la innovación constante y el liderazgo, adicionalmente es un instrumento valiosísimo para enfrentar los cambios del entorno y para aprovechar las oportunidades. De otra parte, la aplicación de direccionamiento estratégico aumenta la capacidad para realizar una gestión más eficiente, ya que se aprovechan mejor los recursos humanos y materiales contribuyendo a optimizar los niveles de productividad y rentabilidad. Analizando el valor que otorga la aplicación de dirección estratégica en cuanto al alcance de un mayor nivel competitivo y de una gestión más efectiva, la empresa LÁCTEOS ARJONA LTDA decidió diseñar el direccionamiento estratégico, por ello este documento contiene una propuesta de dirección estratégica que se ajustara a las expectativas y condiciones del entorno para conseguirlo se diagnosticará el entorno, se analizará el problema y se hará un diagnóstico organizacional.
