Impact of different types of generators on power system transient stability

Abstract
- U ovom diplomskom radu modeliran je dio hrvatske elektroenergetske mreže unutar kojeg su u VE Vrataruša mijenjani tipovi generatora te je analiziran njihov utjecaj na prijelaznu stabilnost okolnih generatora. Cijeli model promatranog sustava je napravljen u programskom paketu ETAP 16.0.0. Praćeni su promjene izlazne električne snage generatora te kuta opterećenja za vrijeme i nakon poremećaja u mreži. Ispitivan je utjecaj sinkronog turbogeneratora, asinkronog generatora tipa 1, dvostruko napajanog asinkronog generatora te sinkronog generatora spojenog preko frekvencijskog pretvarača. Na temelju analize doneseni su neki zaključci. Također prije praktičnog dijela analizirana je teorija prijelazne stabilnosti sinkronog i asinkronog generatora te različite studije koje se bave sličnom problematikom. In this thesis, part of Croatian power grid is modeled using ETAP 16.0.0 software. In the bus of wind turbine Vrataruša, the type of generator was changed and was analyzed its impact on transient stability of the nearest generators. Changes of electrical power and generators angle were observed during and after the fault. There were tested the impact of synchronous turbo-generator, induction generator type 1, doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) and synchronous generator with power converter. Before developing this test model, theory of transient stability of synchronous and induction generators were analyzed and also the different studies with same problematic.
