Strategic planning for a gypsum plasterboard producing company

Bu tez, literatürde yer alan yöntemleri temel alarak strateji olusturmak için belirli bir yöntemgelistirmektedir. Analizler, alçı, alçıpan ve tamamlayıcı ürünler üreten bir firmada yapılmıstır.Kullanılan yöntem çevre analizi sayesinde firmanın içinde bulundugu çevre kosullarını, vesonrasında yapılan yeterlik analiziyle de zayıf ve güçlü yönleri tanımlamaktadır. Stratejiolusturmak için bir pozisyon endeksi tanımlanmıstır. Bu endeks sayesinde alternatifpozisyonlar arasında ayrım yapmak mümkündür. Stratejik seçenekler ise yaygın olarakkullanılan yöntemler ve tez içindeki analizler kullanılarak olusturulmustur. Önerilen farklıstratejik pozisyonlar, firma yönetimi tarafından degerlendirilmis ve sonuç olarak bir alternatifgelecek kabul edilmistir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Stratejik Planlama Yöntemi, Stratejik Yönetim This thesis creates a specific methodology for strategy development while drawing onapproaches reported in the literature. The analysis is done at a company that producesgypsum, gypsum board, and related products. A sequential planning method is used where anenvironmental analysis is conducted in order to define the features of the environment that thecompany operates in. Then a capability analysis reveals the strengths and weaknesses of thecompany. For strategy development, this thesis introduces a position index that is used todiscuss and differentiate alternative positions. Strategic options for a position are determinedby common methods and results from the analyses. The evaluation is conducted with companymanagement, and finally a future position is determined considering company objectives.Keywords: Strategic Planning Methodology, Strategic Management 130
