Çekişmeli boşanma sürecindeki bireylerin empatik eğilim düzeyleri ile bilişsel esneklik düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Bu araştırma İstanbul İli Anadolu Adalet Sarayı' nda çekişmeli boşanma davası devam etmekte olan bireylerin bilişsel esneklik düzeyleri ile empatik eğilim düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek amacı ile gerçekleştirilmiş nicel bir araştırmadır.Araştırmanın örneklemini 2018-2019 yıllarında İstanbul Anadolu Adalet Sarayı 1,2,3,…23. Aile Mahkemeleri'nde çekişmeli boşanma sürecinde olan 98 (%59,4) kadın 67 erkek (%40,6) toplamda 165 kişi oluşturmuş olup katılımcılara 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu' aracılığı ile sorular sorulmuş ardından 'Empatik Eğilim Ölçeği' ve 'Bilişsel Esneklik Ölçeği' uygulanmıştır. Kişisel Bilgi Formu' nda 15 soru cümlesi bulunmaktadır. Empatik Eğilim Ölçeği'nde 20, Bilişsel Esneklik Ölçeği' nde de 12 yargı cümlesi bulunmaktadır.Araştırmada yalnızca çekişmeli boşanma sürecindeki bireylerin empatik eğilimleri ile bilişsel esneklikleri arasındaki ilişkiye bakılmamış bunun yanı sıra bazı demografik değişkenlerle ilişkileri açısından da sonuç incelenmiştir.Araştırmada çekişmeli boşanma sürecinde olan bireylere hazırlanan kişisel bilgi formu ile bireylerin demorafik özellikleri de tespit edilmiş ardından empatik eğilim ölçeği ve bilişsel esneklik ölçeği uygulanarak ölçek içerisinde seçmiş oldukları cümlelerle görüş ve duyguları anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır.Verilerin analizi için SPSS 24.0 kullanılmış olup analizlerde puanların normal dağılıma uygunluğunun belirlenmesi için basıklık ve çarpıklık katsayıları incelenmiştir.Basıklık ve çarpıklık puanının normal olduğu görülmüş olup ölçek puanlarının normal dağıldığı belirlenmiştir. Bu kapsamda hipotez testlerinde parametrik test teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Puanların sosyodemografik özelliklere göre anlamlı farklılık gösterme durumunun incelenmesi için t testi ve ANOVA testi k (k>2) gruplu değişkenlerin analizinde kullanılmıştır. Aynı zamanda puanlar arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek amacı ile Pearson korelasyon testi kullanılmıştır.Yapılan analizler doğrultusunda elde edilen bulgular, empatik eğilim düzeyi ile bilişsel esneklik düzeyi arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu yönündedir. Bireylerin bilişsel esneklik düzeyleri ile cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim düzeyi, diğer eşin eğitim düzeyi, evlenme şekli, çocuk sayısı, boşanmaya karar veren tarafın kim olduğu, boşanma sürecinde diğer eşin talep ve beklentileri anlama durumu arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Empatik eğilim düzeyi ile ise cinsiyet, herhangi bir işte çalışma durumu ve boşanma kararı veren tarafın kim olduğu konularında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler:Boşanma, Empatik Eğilim, Bilişsel Esneklik, Aile This is a quantitative research aimed to analyze the relationship between cognitive flexibility levels and empathetic tendency levels of the individuals having an ongoing process of contested divorce at Anadolu Justice Palace, in the city of Istanbul.The population of the research is composed by 165 individuals 98 female (% 59,4) and 67 male (% 40,6) having ongoing process of contested divorce in family courts number 1, 2, 3, ..., 23 of Istanbul Anadolu Justice Palace in the years 2018-2019. Several questions were asked to the participants via 'Personal Information Form' , and then 'Empathetic Tendency Scale' and 'Cognitive Flexibility Scale' were given. There are 15 question sentences in 'Personal Information Form'. In 'Empathetic Tendency Scale' there are 20, in 'Cognitive Flexibility Scale' there are 12 judgment sentences.In research, not only the relationship between empathetic tendency and cognitive flexibility of the individuals having ongoing process of contested divorce but also the result were analyzed in terms of relationships of it with some demoghraphic variables. In addition to this, by the way of designed personal information form demographic characteristics of the individuals having ongoing process of contested divorce were identified, then, their opinions and feelings were tried to be understood regarding chosen sentences of them in empathetic tendency scale and cognitive flexibility scale. In data analysis SPSS 24.0 was used, in order to identify suitability of the scores to normal distribution kurtosis and skewness were analyzed. It was seen that kurtosis and skewness were normal, and it was also found that scores of the scales were normally distributed. In this context, parametric test methods were used for the hypothesis testings. T-test was used for analyzing whether the scores would show significant difference according to sociodemoghraphic characteristics, and ANOVA was used for the analysis of k-grouped (k>2) variables. Pearson correlation test was used in the analysis of relationship between scores.Findings having through these analysis show that there is a significant relationship between empathetic tendency and cognitive flexibility level. It was found that there is a significant relationship between individuals' cognitive flexibility level and gender, age, educational level, his/her spouse's educational level, type of the marriage, number of children, party deciding to divorce, the level of understanding other party's expectations through divorce process. It was found out that there is a significant relationship between empathetic tendency and the issues of gender, having a job, party deciding to divorce.Key Words: Divorce, Empathic Tendency, Cognitive Flexibility, Family 94
