The patriarchal ideology that establishes sovereignty through genderroles determines the position, attitude, duty and the masculine or femininecharacteristics of men and women. Cinema and gender roles are shown to the societyfrom the mass media used in the construction of the society by the dominant powers.Descriptive analysis was performed in the films of Kemal Sunal as children and theevaluation of the gender roles presented in these films by the liberal, radical and MarxistFeminism in terms of the thought currents. 143
