[Tracheoesophageal fistula after the removal of esophageal foreign body]

Abstract
- A case of 18 years old male with tracheoesophageal fistula as a result of esophageal foreign body (chestnut) is described. Foreign body was removed using esophagoscopy. Bronchofiberoscopy performed because of difficulties with swallowing and frequent airway infections revealed tracheoesophageal fistula. Fistula was closed from intratracheal access. Symptoms of dysfagia disappeared after surgery.
