Abstract
- The functional importance of the intestinal immune system will be shown in the following report. The secretory immune system, the pool of T-lymphocytes, the K-(killer-) and NK-(natural killer-) cells, the accessory cell-system (macrophages, mast cells, granulocytes), the so-called homing and the intestinal antigenabsorption will be described and discussed.
