Lymphocytic interstitial pneumonitis manifesting concurrently with active tuberculosis

Abstract: We describe the simultaneous occurrence of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and lymphocytic interstitial pneumonitis in a 54-year-old man. Two drugs were used to treat the tuberculosis, and the patient had clinical improvement but persistent laboratory and chest roentgenographic abnormalities.
