Abstract
- Chemolithoautotrophic bacterium Ralstonia eutropha is a versatile host for production of various useful compounds including polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) under both heterotrophic and autotrophic conditions. In this bacterium, Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle is functional even under heterotrophic conditions on sugars and reutilizes CO
