Abstract

Here, we investigated toxin domain functions that regulate the proinflammatory activity ofBlocking autoprocessing of TcdB by mutagenesis or chemical inhibition, while reducing cytotoxicity of the toxin, significantly enhanced its proinflammatory activities in the animal model.
