[Interleukin-2 modifies the development of insulin-dependent diabetes of BB rats]

Abstract: Intraperitoneal administration of human recombinant IL-2 led to a significant, dose-dependent increase and acceleration of diabetes development in BB rats, while we observed a suppression of diabetes development in animals with a high spontaneous disease incidence.
