Osteonecrosis of the femoral and humeral heads after intraarticular corticosteroid injections

Abstract: Two cases of multifocal osteonecroses are described. Two hips were affected in one case, 2 hips and 2 shoulders in the other. In both cases osteonecroses developed after intraarticular instillations of long-acting corticosteroids.
