Abstract

A retrospective study was made of cavum malignant neoplasias. They were diagnosed and treated in the Ciudad Sanitaria Virgen de la Arrixaca (Murcia-Spain), between 1973 and 1982, with an epidemiological, clinical, anatomopathological, treatment and prognosis analysis. Cavum cancer is more common in men, with an average evolution time before the diagnosis about 4, 8 months, and an overall survival rate following treatment for every anatomopathological type about 32.4% after five years.
