[Initial experience in exenteration interventions in the pelvis]

Discussion with published data.Altogether four cases of pelvic exenterations are presented, one case of supralevator total exenteration for recurrent cervical cancer, one case of infralevator total exenteration for recurrent vaginal cancer, one case of supralevator anterior exenteration in the treatment of locally advanced cancer of urinary bladder, and one case of supralevator posterior exenteration for recurrent vaginal cancer.
