MEREC Tabanlı CoCoSo Yöntemiyle Uçuş Okullarının Uçak Seçimlerinin Değerlendirilmesi

Flight schools are institutions that carry out training activities in order to ensure quality and competition in the sector and to meet the pilot needs of the sector. Therefore, the aircraft to be used in the training must be chosen correctly. The aim of this study is to determine the aircraft selection criteria of the flight schools, to find the weights of these criteria and to choose the most suitable aircraft alternatives among the preferred flight schools. In the study, MEREC and CoCoSo methods, which are the current Multi-Criteria Decision Making methods, were preferred. The MEREC method was used to find the criterion weights, and the CoCoSo method was used to rank the aircraft. In the literature search, no study was found in which MEREC and CoCoSo methods were used in aircraft selection of flight schools. In the results of the analysis, it has been determined that the three most important evaluation criteria are "standard weight", "fuel tank capacity" and "maximum take-off weight", respectively. The criterion with the lowest degree of importance was the "aviation capability of the engine manufacturer" criterion. “Piper PA-44 Seminole” with alternative 3 codes took the first place among the aircraft alternatives. It is thought that the study will be beneficial to aviation industry and flight school managers.
Uçuş okulları; sektörde kalite ve rekabeti sağlamak için ve sektörün pilot ihtiyacını karşılamak amacıyla eğitim faaliyetlerini yürüten kurumlardır. Dolayısıyla eğitimlerde kullanılacak uçakların da doğru seçilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, uçuş okullarının uçak seçim kriterlerini belirleyerek, söz konusu kriterlerin ağırlıklarını bulmak ve uçuş okullarında tercih edilen uçak alternatifleri arasından en uygun olanını seçmektir. Çalışmada güncel olan Çok Kriterli Karar Verme yöntemlerinden MEREC ve CoCoSo yöntemleri tercih edilmiştir. Kriter ağırlıklarının bulunmasında MEREC yöntemi, uçakların sıralanmasında da CoCoSo yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Yapılan literatür araştırmasında MEREC ve CoCoSo yöntemlerinin uçuş okullarının uçak seçiminde kullanıldığı bir çalışmayla rastlanmamıştır. Analiz sonuçlarında, en önemli üç değerlendirme kriteri sırasıyla, “standart ağırlık”, “yakıt depo kapasitesi” ve “maksimum kalkış ağırlığı” olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Önem derecesi en düşük kriter ise, “motor üreticisi firmanın havacılık yeteneği” kriteri olmuştur. Uçak sıralamasında da alternatif 3 kodlu “Piper PA-44 Seminole” uçağı ilk sırada yer almıştır. Çalışmanın havacılık sektörü ve uçuş okulu yöneticilerine faydalı olacağı düşünülmektedir.
