In Old Uighur, how should be transcribedrounded vowels of the first syllables with helping writing systems of Uighurs?Turk Runic, Sogdian, Manichaean, Arabic alphabets can’t solve any solution forthis problem. The only writing system that will help us in this problem is theBrāhmī writing system of Indian origin. In this paper, I would like to focus onthis problem and offer a solution suggestion.
