The Genus ?'Lycogalopsis?'

?The genus Lycogalopsis?. This interesting genus of gasteromycetes has been sparsely collected from various localities in the tropics of both hemispheres; in the New World, in Martinique and in Puerto Rico. He has been placed in at least four different families. From the study of several collections from Panama, the author considers the American forms as identical with L. Solmsii E. Fischer, originally described for Java, and considers the genus as included in the Lycoperdaceae.
