- Abstract Extremely low alanine aminotransferase (ALT) may reflect aging, frailty, sarcopenia, and malnutrition in several cardiovascular diseases, but the association between low ALT and patient characteristics, cardiovascular and all-cause mortality is not well investigated in the population with atrial fibrillation.
