Abstract
- Highlights Safer and biodegradable nano/micro-supramolecular biopolymers transform farming practices. Supramolecular biopolymers improve soil structure, water retention, and plant nutrient uptake. Encapsulation of bioactive compounds and their controlled release by nano/micro-supramolecular biopolymers enables targeted delivery. Biopolymer networks can potentially be embedded in biosensors for crop protection goals.
