Abstract
- The topic of the article is the phenomenon of the rapid rise of anti-systemic new politicians and their imminent fall. Author makes analysis of the results of the parliamentary elections in Slovenia and Kosovo and the effects of a short stay in power of two Prime Ministers – in Slovenia M. Shareс and in Kosovo A. Kurti. To complete this task the factors of electoral victories of both politicians and their subsequent failures had been under consideration. Аuthor makes an as- sumption that similar events in very different societies have a common basis. The conclusion reached by the author is that the reason for the recent successes of the counter-elite politicians and their defeats is the same namely the accepted role and image of the leader of the mass protest which had assisted them to gain popularity and win elections, but limited the possibility of unavoidable necessary compromises in state and political activities.
