Abstract

This article offers a short reconstruction of the Leipzig Trial (1933), from the Reichstag fire, trough the imprisonment of the accused, to the trial itself. We paid particular attention to one of the accused, the Bulgarian Georgi Dimitrov (leading figure of Komintern) who was able, thanks to a tireless and hazardous self-defence, to unmask the machinations of the Nazi police and the judicial system, in a context of a fervent political trial.
