Verbal Forms in the Poetry of Mohammed Al Eid Al Khalifa: selected Examples

Abstract: This paper research aims at treating the formula of speech acts in the poetry by Mohamed El Aid El Khalifa and that through some chosen samples as a practice. This is done through some practically selected models, as it is a rich achievement that enables us to clarify the speech act, and reveal its dimensions, function, and impact in poetic discourse. The objective remains to detect these speech acts and their role in the communicative process and their impact on the performance of the meanly and signification. And how to move from the literal meaning to the implied meaning ,and clarify their role in achieving the poet’s intention and understanding the mechanisms of interaction between him and the recipient, which achieves the process of reporting and communication. We used the descriptive analytical method. We first extracted some verses of poetry that contains some speech acts so as to be studied and described and analysed and explained.
