Abstract

The relevance of the issue of asthenic disorders is determined by a high prevalence among patients with various chronic pathologies and its impact on the disease course, treatment efficacy, and quality of life. The purpose of the study was to analyze the dependence of cognitive disorders and the quality of life of patients with Lyme borreliosis on the level of fatigue. Materials and Methods. The study involved 48 patients with Lyme borreliosis. The MOS 36-item Short Form Health Survey (SF-36) was used to study the quality of life of patients. Cognitive function was assessed using the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), and the impact of fatigue was evaluated using the Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS).
