Abstract
- Abstract Background Management of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in patients with haemophilia is extremely challenging. Therefore, knowing the prevalence of CVD and risk factors in this population is imperative. Data were collected using a pretested, investigator administered questionnaire. Seated blood pressure, anthropometric measurements and blood samples were obtained using standard techniques. Lipid profile and fasting plasma glucose were estimated. Prevalence of risk factors for CVD was compared with those of age matched males in the general population. P values
