Abstract

This article presents an excerpt of the main results of a master's research that had the general objective of analyzing a process of continued formation of teachers, specific of field schools in the county of Itapejara D'Oeste - PR, which had a partnership with the State University of Western Paraná – Unioeste and the Association of Studies, Guidance and Rural Assistance – Assesoar. The time frame took place between 2017 and 2022. From a qualitative approach, through semi-structured interviews with members of the continued formation, in addition to a bibliographic and documental study, we sought to understand the potentialities and limits of this process, the possibility of overcoming the traditional models of continued formation, as well as whether it was able to contribute to the training of teachers in order to carry out a work based on the Modality of Rural Education. It was pointed out as a result the strengthening between school and community, a greater approximation of teachers with the Modality, the awakening of a reflective process, qualitatively influencing the subjective construction of its participants. Despite some still existing limits, the process analyzed in the investigation has been surpassing the traditional historical models of continued formation that reach the field public schools.
