Abstract

The aim of this study was to characterize the milk production in the municipality of Cromínia GO , the technological level of production units. They selected 46 properties, of which data for 20 were submitted to descriptive statistical analysis . The properties were divided into three groups , taking into account the daily production of L / day : Small 0 to 150 ; and 150 to 300 average large > 300L / day . 100 % of the properties had individual tank milk tank , representatively all complained about the lack of manpower and qualified technical assistance .One of the largest problems that are leading to all small and medium producers and a percentage of the assessed major 60% being more than half. As the quality of milk in fat parameters, protein and solids can be said that the three groups in question fell into place in NR62 , but the CBT total bacterial count and CCS somatic cell count questions also the three groups showed mean values above maximum allowed under the rules of NR 62 thus no longer fitting in the normative standards of quality . However producers use the means that each one gets to production on their properties , for everyone to beneficiaries according to NR62 lack only solve management -related problems mentioned above. Milk production in Cromínia GO showed no specification , but its current activity this stemmed livestock in their milk majority and mixed , extractive and extensive livestock.
