Abstract

After the victory of the revolution in Iran in February 1979, Mahmoud Al-Talqani sought to do his best for its success, despite the observations he was indicating on the activity of the revolutionary committees, which were the military arm of the extremist religious current led by Mr. Khomeini. Some forces tried to create a rift between Mahmoud Al-Talqani And the other leaders of the revolution for personal goals, but Mahmoud Al-Talqani was aware of this and spoiled all the attempts that took place during the first months of the Iranian revolution. Freedoms, however, were not a reason for standing against the general goal of the revolution, which is to rid the Iranian people of the injustice that they have been suffering from over the past decades, which calls for the concerted efforts of all national forces, whether secular or religious.
