Abstract

The work of A.S. Pushkin is a cultural asset not only of national but also of global importance. Brought up on brilliant examples of world artistic heritage, A.S. Pushkin in his work repeatedly turned to the images and plot moves of European fiction and world mythology. Through Pushkins work, Russian cultural community members go beyond the framework of a narrowly national consciousness and share cultural and aesthetic values with all of humanity, which ensures the unity of cultural traditions in the modern information society.
