Abstract: Strait et al describe distinct immune microenvironment profiles of responders versus non-responders to combined TGF-β/PD-L1 blockade in mouse models of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). The results emphasize the potential of combined TGF-β/PD-L1 targeting and provide important clues to guide personalized SCC immunotherapy.
