Abstract

Analysis of economic growth operates with a number of aggregate macroeconomic concepts such as population growth, production growth, unemployment, changes in the number of labour, etc., all these being the elements that are used in the analysis of economic development. The authors wanted to present in this article some economic considerations which constitute the base of economic growth forecast. Economic growth can be analysed static, at a certain time, dynamic by comparing the indicators, characterizing economic growth over a period of time but more importantly is forecasting economic growth. In this respect are elucidated the main concepts of the theory of economic growth and summarized the theoretical background on which forecast economic growth can be achieved.
